This particular evening, a group of family and friends gathered ‘round a table like it was Grandma’s kitchen—except this time the kitchen came with white linens, coffee refills, and a view so pretty even the pickiest uncle paused to admire it. The gang had traveled from both sides of the border—Yoopers and Cheeseheads alike—proving that “you betcha” and “holy wah” can absolutely coexist in culinary harmony. Now, if you’ve never eaten at River’s Edge, here’s what you need to know: The windows stretch nearly floor to ceiling, showing off the river like it’s the main course. The air smells faintly of pan-fried perch and possibility. And the dessert menu alone could spark a family feud. (Strawberry shortcake vs. chocolate lava cake—pick a side, and choose wisely.) The food? Classic Midwest comfort with a hint of flair. The table was a smorgasbord of broasted chicken, prime rib specials, and enough mashed potatoes to make a grown man weep tears of joy. Glasses clinked with everything from Old Fashioneds (brandy, of course—this is Wisconsin) to good ol’ U.P. coffee strong enough to jumpstart a chainsaw. “ First visit to the River's Edge Supper Club last Friday night. The service was excellent and the food is just as good as the service. We had the baked French onion soup as a starter, along with deep fried pickle fries. Both were very good. Our dinners were a breaded walleye dinner with hashbrowns au gratin and steak Otto with garlic mashed potatoes. Dinner included a fresh garden salad. The old fashioned I had was good as well. One of the best parts of the visit is the wonderful view out the windows of the Menominee river. What a great first visit to this wonderful old school establishment. Very reasonable prices and great drinks. We will return here again! ”

“ I've always been a fan of River's Edge since I moved here about 4 years ago, the duck on their menu is delicious (The duck strips on the appetizer menu are sold out quite often) they do a really good job on their steaks. Not a casual dining experience, more of a special occasion type of place. Reservations are preferred here. Probably my favorite go to here in town ever since the landing has gone under new management. And they always provide my little guy with coloring books to keep him busy so he doesn't run around. ”
